The duck is a bus and a boat. It is an amphibious vehicle.

Steve's company, NorthWest Tank, flew us up to Seattle for a company celebration. We got to do some sight seeing, ride the duck, and watch the snow fall. The meeting was fun and we got to see the vision the owner has as to the future of the company. I enjoyed meeting the other employees and their spouses. I love Steve's company - the are so family oriented.

Palm Springs Tram Ride

During the Thanksgiving Break - We took the Aerial Tram Ride in Palm Springs. It was a little scary being in a big heavy box suspended in air by wires as the box ascended into the air - up and over cliffs. When we got to the top - the view was breath-taking. Andrew enjoy climbing the rock and mountain side. We had fun taking the mile long trail way. The air was clean and crisp. We enjoyed spending the day together.

3rd Grade Mission Project

Andrew's 3rd grade teacher gave the class an assignment to make a model of one of the missions of California. Andrew chose to do the San Gabriel Mission located in Los Angeles area. We went to visit the mission so Andrew could get a feel for what a mission was and how the people were who lived in a mission.

Halloween 2007

Part of the halloween tradition is to carve a slimy pumpkin. We like to also cook the seeds and eat them. Andrew wanted to be a police officer this year and he had so much fun going around and arresting people.
